What is PoE currency?
Path of Exile itself has no money. It runs on a barter system in which players and NPC vendors use crafting resources as currency. These PoE projects will change the various characteristics of the device, this is how you make in the game.
The currency standard is naturally raised from the barter system. The Chaos Orbs became the “Silver Standard” and the Exalted Orbs became the “Gold Standard.” From these facts, you can calculate how much PoE uniqueness and other orbs and crafting resources, are worth.
How Do You Trade in Path of Exile?
The game doesn’t have a system or structure similar to an Auction House or trading hub. To trade with others, you have to meet the other player in-game and invite them to trade. With the world chat being a mess, it’s hard to figure out who’s selling what, and whether those items have been sold or not, which requires both players to agree before the trade is finalized.
Fortunately, there is a way to get all the trading information you need. To find out what other players are selling, please use Poe.trade. The tool is built into the Path of Exile website and allows you to search for items that other players have marked for sale.
The following is a quick rundown of how this process works:
- Use Poe.trade to find an item you’re interested in.
- Click the ‘whisper’ button next to the seller’s name.
- This copies a string of text you can then paste into the in-game chat window to automatically message a player saying you want to buy the item.
- Assuming that player is online, they’ll message you back and typically invite you to their hideout to trade.
- Make sure to bring the currency with you in your inventory.
- At their hideout, complete the trade.
How to Sell items in Path of Exile
This will require you to also spend a little bit of money. Well, you’ll have to buy a Premium Stash Tab. Since it’s a microtransaction item, it’ll cost you some real-world money. Set the necessary permissions on your stash tab, and then put in the items to be sold. From there, you can set a uniform price for each item in the store, or you can set prices separately. If the operation is correct, the trading site will record the item in this tab and make it searchable.
Premium Tabs Have a Few Extra Features:
- They can be renamed.
- They can be colored (for easy organization).
- They can be set ‘public’ so that websites like Poe.trade can index the items stored there so it’ll show up in search results, and other players can buy it from you.
